LAWYER

Karin graduated from the University of Toronto in 2010 with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor from Queen's University in 2013. Throughout all three years of law school, Karin volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and Queen's Legal Aid. She also worked for Legal Aid in the summer of 2012 and mentored a group of Legal Aid students during her last year of law school.

After graduation, Karin articled at Laxton Glass LLP, where she became an associate upon her call to the Ontario Bar in 2014. Since then, Karin has been gaining experience in the defence of tort claims, statutory accident benefits claims, and priority and loss transfer disputes. Karin has worked closely with senior counsel on diverse matters, from minor trip and fall accidents to multi-million dollar property damage claims. In addition, Karin has her own practice where she has appeared before the License Appeal Tribunal and the Superior Court of Justice. 

In her free time, Karin enjoys training Krav Maga and spending her time outdoors and with family and friends. She also loves to travel and is exploring the world, one trip at a time.
