Serena graduated from McMaster University with a Honours Bachelor in Commerce Degree. She then attended at the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2013. Serena was called to the Ontario bar in 2014, after articling at a prominent insurance litigation firm in Toronto. 

Serena joined Laxton Glass LLP following her call to the bar in 2014. She practices in all areas of tort and accident benefits claims, including first and third party claims, disputes between insurers, construction negligence, occupier's liability, social host liability and bad faith litigation.  She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Licence Appeal Tribunal, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Ontario Small Claims Court and Landlord and Tenant Board.  

Outside of work, Serena enjoys travelling, yoga, wine and spending time with her family and friends. She is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi, albeit with a terrible accent.
