Sanjana pursued an integrated Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws from India in 2018. After passing the Bar in India, she practiced general litigation at a prominent law firm. She gained robust experience in advocacy and worked on files at various levels of Court in India, including the Supreme Court.

Sanjana took a leap of faith and moved to Toronto in the midst of COVID-19 in 2021 to pursue a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. Upon graduating in 2022, she started her articles at an insurance company, where she worked on a wide range of insurance litigation files. Sanjana also successfully appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the Licence Appellate Tribunal. She served as an articling ambassador at the Ontario Bar Association during her articling term.

Soon after completing her articles and getting called to the Ontario Bar in 2023, Sanjana joined Laxton Glass, wherein she is involved in the litigation of tort and accident benefits claims, including first and third party claims, occupiers liability, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and property damage files.

Sanjana believes in positive social impact and giving back to the community. She is currently a member-at-large at the Women’s Law Forum, Young Lawyers Division, and Insurance Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. Outside of work, Sanjana enjoys trying her hand at different culinary styles from around the world. She has developed a passion for crafting various coffee beverages in her at-home coffee bar and proudly embraces the title of a self-proclaimed home barista.
