Jon joined Laxton Glass LLP in 2012 after working for several years in a prominent full-service law firm in Toronto.  Since his call to the Bar in 2010, Jon has practiced exclusively in the area of insurance defence litigation. 

Jon represents insurers in all areas of insurance litigation including first and third party claims, disputes between insurers, construction negligence, occupier's liability, social host liability, as well as accidents benefits and bad faith litigation.  Jon appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and at private arbitrations.

Jon is a member of the Advocates' Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers, the Ontario Bar Association and is a member-at-large of the Canadian Bar Association.

In his spare time, Jon enjoys golfing, reading science fiction novels, watching reality television and being a hands-on dad.
