LAWYER

Kara graduated from Ryerson University with a major in Criminology before receiving her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. While in Law School, she volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada and the Ontario Justice Education Network. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Kara gained a robust background in the customer service industry as a Supervisor at a bulk food retail company. She was a summer student with Laxton Glass and completed her articles with the firm in 2024. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024 at which time she joined the firm as an associate.  

Kara has successfully appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Advocates Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association. She has assisted in the litigation of tort and statutory accident benefits claims, including first and third party claims, disputes between insurers, and property damage.

Outside of the office, Kara enjoys immersing herself in a lengthy Stephen King novel, doing Pilates, and baking sweet treats for her husband.
